PhotoCraft Online Cookies and Browser Storage

How language, editor preferences and analytics use cookies or browser storage.

Effective date: 10 October 2026.

Your browser may remember your language and editor settings and store cookies used for visit statistics. These settings do not save a backup of your images or projects.

What can be stored?

PurposePossible storageCurrent use
Site languageLocale cookie or URL localeRemembers or identifies English/Chinese page preference
Editor preferencesEditor origin's local storageKeeps available interface settings, not a cloud project copy
Plausible analyticsNo analytics cookiesCounts page visits, referrals and engagement
Google Analytics 4Analytics cookiesDistinguishes browsers and sessions for visit measurement

Storage depends on site settings and browser behavior. Blocking storage can reset preferences; private browsing may clear them at session end. You do not need advertising cookies to open a local image. This site currently does not show ads.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics and Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits and referral sources. Both load by default when you visit the website. Plausible does not set analytics cookies or store a persistent visitor identifier in your browser. Google Analytics uses first-party analytics cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. These analytics tools do not save editor documents or send image files opened in the editor. See Google’s cookie documentation. External documentation, download and feedback services use their own cookies and policies.

See privacy for website requests and local file processing.

Managing storage

Use your browser's site settings to inspect or remove cookies and stored data. You can block third-party cookies or use a private profile. Save and verify work first: clearing storage, restarting or refreshing can lose unsaved changes. It may also reset your language and editor settings.

Downloaded images are managed separately. Removing site storage does not delete files in Downloads; saved preferences do not prove a project is backed up.

Changes and questions

We update this page when storage or deployed integrations change. See contact for questions. Do not put tokens or full cookie values in public issues.
